Victorian, Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau, Early Modern, and Art Deco

VICTORIAN ERA
This piece is a Coca Cola advertisment done in a Victorian Era
style. It is very idealized beauty that is also very conservative.
It has a very symmetrical layout with framed photos also characteristic of the Victorian Era.

 ARTS AND CRAFTS
This piece I found is a book cover that is very reflective of the Arts and Crafts movement.
It has very organic plants and plant like shapes. Arts and Crafts's father William Morris
wanted to rediscover older traditions and this piece reflects just that.

ART NOUVEAU
This piece is very art nouveau the side profile of the woman,
flowy air, and illustrated flowers. Art Nouveau was a rebellion
from the Victorian era and the female conservative images. The woman in the
image is very free and illustrated that way.
SURREALISM (EARLY MODERN)
Surrealism movement was supported pieces that are very dreamlike.
This piece with the building of the rhino seemed very Dali-esk.
It is without boundries which is representative of Surrealism.

ART DECO
This piece is very Art Deco with blocks of color and silhuttes.
Also the pieces in this are very geometric which is very reflective of the movement.
The typeface is also very Art Deco and fits the piece very well.
